A gentle friend’s passing honoured today, with my sad regrets that I cannot be there to pay my last respects.

Sorry to read this. Recently I received an email from a high school friend who keeps track of our scattered graduating class. I dread her emails anymore, because it often means another friend has passed.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Actually a relative by marriage only met up with infrequently but I shall miss him never-the-less.
