Wimbledon

Murray;
will he, won’t he,
will he win
Wimbledon?

Andy Murray is the first Brit to reach Wimbledon finals since 1938! He’s up against Federer, but looking on the bright side, he has beaten him before so just maybe…

    Here’s to hoping your Champion rises to the occasion!

    I’ve got my fingers crossed! I remember Tim Henman’s run at Wimbledon and I loved watching his game, a real class act! Hope Andy Murray can go all the way! He’s already accomplished a lot!

      At least we now have a Wimbledon Champion – Jonny Marray (confusing name!) won the doubles with his Danish partner, also the first winner since 1938.

        Hey, that is super! And it was great to make it to the finals! He’ll win another year I’m sure!

        Here’s hoping Daphne. Yes Catherine, Rod watched the Grand Prix then came to see how Wimbledon was going – but he didn’t stay to watch as he says Murray always loses when he watches, he went to ‘play’ in his workshop! I’m sure Murray will win a Grand Slam sometime but it would be nice if he could win Wimbledon! In the meantime very well done Marray for winning the doubles.

    love the “w” sounds in this piece! I didn’t think Murray would win but at least he didn’t let Federer wipe the floor with him. has no-one actually worked out Ferderer’s game plan – he lets his opponent over extend him self in the 1st/2nd sets and then finishes him off! Well done to both I say!
