Who Sent Them?

Pre-Christmas entertainment;
Looking at the envelopes of cards
as they arrive, trying to guess,
from handwriting and postmark,
who sent them. Often right,
sometimes wrong, some postmarks
frustratingly unreadable!

    Our local paper had an article to gift local retirement communities residences with cards. I gave the article to my DIL so her school and children might make some cards. Those folks have been very hard hit with not being allowed visitors. Some of those places will allow one person at a time only if they have been tested and cleared first.

    I also know that some of those communities use old cards for crafts. A great way to recycle your cards after the season is over.
