computer to update
slows down working progress.

out weeds,
while perched nearby,
waiting for grubs, watching;
Robin.

Almost

Almost, but not quite;
Magnolia buds waiting to burst
when the time is right.

Lined Up

Pigeons lined up
along the branches,
waiting for me
to fill the feeders.

Waiting

Waiting for news
that doesn’t come.
Around me life goes on.
