Rain Drops

Icy rain drops on my face;
do I detect a hint of sleet?
Shopping done, I scurry home.

The Lawn

After a night of rain and sleet
the lawn
studded with diamond droplets
in the sun.

Sleet turns to snowflakes,
silently falling faster
and faster, settling.

Five Minutes

Five minutes of fine sleet,
then it’s gone again.
Still no snow.
