Mind is a UK charity for mental health that provides advice and support services which aim to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem to find the help they need. They also campaign tirelessly to improve the existing support and services available, to raise public awareness and to promote understanding, especially in the workplace.

Mind helps individuals to understand their condition and the choices available to them by providing clear and informative support and guidance through services such as:

  • An Infoline which offers callers confidential help for the price of a local call.
  • A Legal Advice Service which provides information on mental health related law to the public, service users, family members/carers, mental health professionals and mental health advocates.

“Nightrider™ – a unique 100km moonlit ride past London’s iconic landmarks. Aiming to raise £2.5 million in 1 night!”

My son has signed up to take part in this event, which takes place on 8th June 2013. The aim of the event is to raise money for a various charities and participants may choose which charity to support. He has chosen to support the Mental Health charity ‘Mind’.
