Debris

Night snow and strong winds.
Morning sun melt leaves behind
scattered twigs debris.

Blue Sky

Under a blue sky
the snow continues to melt.
I prune garden shrubs.

Claude

A little frivolous Limerick in the lead up to Christmas:

There once was a snowman call Claude
who stood in the cold and was bored.
That's not how he felt
as he started to melt
next day when the cold weather thawed.

Snowfall

All day long the snow fell.
Over night
the blanket of white
survived the freezing weather.
But now the sky is clear
and bright
and slowly, oh so slowly
the snow begins to melt.
