“For your tomorrow
We gave our today.”

Attributed to John Maxwell Edmonds (1875-1958)

“At the going down of the sun and in the Morning
We will remember them.”

from ‘For the Fallen’ by Laurence Binyon

Lest We Forget

England mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.
