Hazel catkins
hanging like lambs tails
in the hedgerows.
Signs of Spring.

Stroboscopic sunbeams
flicker through bare hedgerows
disturbing my driving vision.

Driving into town
stroboscopic lighting blinks my eyes;
sunlight through the hedgerows.

Along the Hedgerows

Along the hedgerows
blackberries, damsons, greengages,
not yet ripe.
