Dawn

Peach coloured dawn,
clouds rush by dragging
a heavy grey blanket.
Barometer plummets.

Morning Sun

Morning sun rises,
the birds outside my window
great the dawn with song.

Hot

Too hot to sleep
I toss and turn,
dozing and dreaming,
waiting for dawn.

A New Day

A new day dawns without you,
darkness eased by silvered golden sun.
A spider weaves a web across my window,
but you are gone.

In memory of my uncle who passed away yesterday evening.

Eostre

Greetings to thee
Eostre, goddess of the dawn,
of new beginnings and fertility.
