I dreaded giving up my ‘flip-phone’ – I think my new (used) smart phone is smarter than I am!! But it can’t write poetry!!

My dying one is a smart phone which I have only had for about 7 years or so but is apparently ‘old and no longer supported’ so a new is necessary. Have now bought one and am struggling to get to grips with it. It does far more than I need it to do – as you say, smarter than me!

I get a kick out of the comics when the youngsters ask; What’s a clock or a newspaper 🙂
I still remember one relative who had a four line party telephone system. And Black and White Televisions with Tubes!!
Now all TV’s are flat or curved flat! But sometimes you can fix old things. Hubby needs to put a new shut off switch on our old electric dryer. We are now on our second or third washing machine… but the dryer (which has had other parts replaced) is going on 30 plus years!
