Victims of drought,
fallen leaves lie on the ground.
Now those that are left
on the trees begin to turn
to autumn russets.

We’ve had two days of rain… might green up the lawn.
But autumn has begun. On our ‘hike’ – there were many fallen russet leaves…

We’ve had more rain today too, somehow seems appropriate.

        My sincere condolences…
Because Queen Elizabeth has been news forward for the last few years I’ve been reading more about how wonderful she was.

Yes, she will be sadly missed. It feels like a really momentous event, everything changes and we must adjust. Very few alive today remember a time before Queen Elizabeth came to the throne.

I read that Queen Elizabeth made some changes too… Now that King Charles lll is in ‘office’ I’m sure there will be some new changes.

The ‘States’ own politics seem to change often. Some would argue that is good. But sometimes the choice is between to people of which neither seems a good fit.
