My Octo

As promised herewith a photo of my finished crocheted Octo the Octopus:

I wrote about this neo-natal toy in a previous post (here). The pattern had been given to me by Heather, a friend of my cousin Ruth. I had assumed Heather had made the ‘Octo’ she showed me, but it turns out it was actually made by another friend of hers who had also given Heather the pattern, which she in turn had copied to pass on to other friends. Heather admits she has yet to make one – I think, as a retaliation for misleading me, she ought to be pressured to do so! (But to be fair she had never actually claimed she had made it. – I had just assumed.)

Well done. I remember attempting little bunnies (for pins). Interesting that the patterns are called recipes. 😀
