fleeing ahead of storm Brendan
following in hot pursuit.

Brendan is the name given by the Irish Met. Office to the storm forecast to batter the UK today.

    I remember when they only named hurricanes – gals names.
    Now they name everything alternating male and female names – in alphabetical order. Though I think the last snow we got didn’t have a name… perhaps the snow only gets a name if it exceeds a certain amount?

    We got battered by rain Saturday evening. The creek water is still high and muddy. The rain was going sideways! Stay safe!

      It’s only storms that get names here, some the same as yours if they have come all the way across the pond, others named by Ireland or by UK Met Offices. Not aware that we give snow names – but then we don’t get that much snow!
