Down At The Boat

An Elfje sequence:

Morning.
The marina
comes to life.
Calm waters belie increased
activity.

Martins
twittering, flittering
around the boats,
among the rigging, playing
catch.

Hardly
a breath
of wind, barely
a ripple disturbs the
water.

Decks
wet with
overnight dew. Drying
sun beams down, set
fair.

Enjoy being down on the dock. We had some rain overnight. I decided not go to walking this morning as I thing the bugs will be biting. And I’ve got the Grandees arriving in a bit.

I stick longer verse on Strands. Especially when I’ve got a theme going at Gems.

We’re down for a few days – mainly some maintenance jobs to do but may get a chance to go for a sail, though the weather doesn’t look good again for tomorrow! It was great to have a good day today.
