Debutantes

Welcome
Spring’s harbingers.
Heads bowed shyly,
white-clad debutantes cluster.
Snowdrops.

Not here yet…we’ve had a cold spell.
Though it may get up in the 40’s (F) next week.
That is still mild for winter in the north 😉

Perhaps they will come soon. Ours have been pushing up for a while but are only now beginning to show their heads. Mild here too though windy today. Our winter has been a poor shambles, never quite making up its mind! 🙂

I saw some in flower 2 weeks ago so hopefully they will be out at a National Trust garden where they have a larger variety than I knew existed.
