Bloom

First
blossom bursts
on cherry tree;
facing a dismal day
cheerfully.

New green leaves protect
the clusters of pale blossom;
delicate beauty.

Soul,
saddened at day’s start,
rejoices on seeing
cherry blossom
bloom.

    The Bloom ‘broke’ on our cheery this morning, and now by serendipity, I have discovered this lovely poem. Sunday Lunchtime is now complete….

    Thank you
