Officially
the first day of summer;
and yet it seems
winter has returned.

    So many traditions on when the first day of summer starts.
    I always thought it was mid June with the solstice on the 21st.
    But the animals, weather and other traditions have some say in the matter too 😉

      According to our TV weatherman it is the meteorological beginning of summer! It’s all a bit vague as I don’t think of it like that, but then the June 21st solstice is suposed to be ‘mid-summer day’ and is certainly half-way through the year!

    Lucky for you! The official first day of summer is actually different over here – it’s on the 21st, the summer solstice, as Jules said.

    Winter is stubborn this year; it’s not getting the message 😊
