    There a quite a few black birds. Hard sometimes to tell the difference.
    I may have had your birds relative. I know I’ve got red wing black birds and maybe crackles…
    Trying to find the difference I found this.. .though it didn’t help much …yet.
    Crows, Ravens and Rooks are all in the same direct family (Corvids), whereas the Blackbird is a member of the Thrush family.

    I’ll have to investigate more.
    What ever they are ‘my blackbirds are greedy and like to monopolize the feeder. 🙂

    I actually saw a Red-breasted Grosbeak this morning.
