Birdwatch

I’m watching the birds
for the Big Garden Birdwatch,
so they hide up in the trees
where I just can’t see them
to count their species…

…until I stop looking;
and then they come flocking!

    Fickle nature.
    Good luck.
    I believe my son and his gal help count animals.
    They help watch certain bird populations (and also count snakes… at least once a year).

    That’s the way it goes! I did it last year and exactly the same happened! 😊

    I did it to. Much more sucessfully than usual. Actually had a variety of birds this year. Usually it rains and I am down to a starling and a pigeon. 🙂

    We have a bird feeder right outside our window, so unless we move to close to the window or make sudden movements, the birds remain undisturbed! The window provides a good view.
