Storm Battered

Storm battered UK;
trees down,
power out,
two people killed,
east coast flooding,
homes vacated.
Not where I am
Hope that you too
are OK.

(One newspaper today had the headline ‘Killer Storm’ – it makes you wonder how to describe the real devastation experienced in many other parts of the world!)

    Hubby is coming home from Wisconsin – to Pennsylvania – hoping there aren’t any weather delays. I have seen some reports about ice and accidents.

    Ok down on the Isle of Wight too but terrible freakish weather that we (and other parts of the world) are having this year. I too wish everyone safe and warm wherever they may be.

    I saw that on the news Libby – absolutely awful. I can’t imagine what it must be like to see your home fall entirely into the ocean.

      Dreadful and frighting I should think. Where I am strong winds brought down a few branches and there was some other minor damage but nothing like this.

        Thank goodness you’re alright. I can’t think of a more terrifying way for those poor people to have been killed, and thinking about losing things like photos and memories is bad enough without losing every little thing.
