Spring Clothes

Spring changes her clothes;
her frilled and ruffled blossoms
fade and fall,
and in their stead
she dons her robes
of variegated, restful greenery,
in graceful dignity,
to cover all.

    ….And yet we had one of the coldest May days on record and it is raining yet again. Watching the grass grow here!!!

    I enjoyed your metaphor of Spring changing, from the fading of early vigorous blooms to the greenery leading into summer. Quite lovely.
