Queueing

At the feeders a sparrow and bluetit,
on the tree stump close by a robin sits,
low in the cherry tree a blackbird watches
and on the fence two pigeons wait,
queueing up for breakfast.

Nice. I enjoy my bird friends too. Robins, chickadees, and yesterday I saw three gosslings with their parents at the edge of the creek.

you get so many garden birds – most of my birds are corvus – crow, magpie and jackdaw, though the wood pigeon sometimes sees them off!

We do get some of those; rooks, crows, magpies and yesterday for the first time I saw a jackdaw at the feeder. The pigeons are impatient and agressive and often drive the smaller birds (and each other) away!
