Mind, the Metnal Health Charity
Mind is a UK charity for mental health that provides advice and support services which aim to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem to find the help they need. They also campaign tirelessly to improve the existing support and services available, to raise public awareness and to promote understanding, especially in the workplace.

Mind helps individuals to understand their condition and the choices available to them by providing clear and informative support and guidance through services such as:

  • An Infoline which offers callers confidential help for the price of a local call.
  • A Legal Advice Service which provides information on mental health related law to the public, service users, family members/carers, mental health professionals and mental health advocates.
  • Award-winning publications and website, now certified by the Information Standard.

    This is the charity that my son Chris is supporting via the ‘Nightrider’ sponsored cycle ride.

    We have several friends with differently-abled children. We have been fortunate to be a part of their lives as well as give them support. We watched them grow up into young adults who are now in group homes. I wish this organization and your son continued success in raising awareness, choices and respect for those in your area who are also differently-abled.
