My Mother Said (3)

“Waste not, want not.”
And also: “Make do and mend.”

Two for the price of one today, probably not original sayings and no doubt once more wartime inspired.

I’ve been attempting a bit of this particular advice…
Had a mix of tuna, pasta, peas, pepper (green) in a mix for dinner last night.
Attempting to use what’s in the cupboard until next shopping day instead of shopping everyday… 🙂

Sometimes though the hole in the sock is just to big to mend…and that’s when it becomes a hand duster…yes? 🙂

Yes, good advice. And more true for today and days to come than ever!
