Autumn Double Haiku

A nip in the air
morning and evening; behold
Autumn approaches.

In amber and gold,
silently she comes, Midas
touching summer leaves.

    I forget the name of my white creeper vine (that really was cut to two feet high in spring) is now in bloom and almost has covered the entire height of the pine near it’s metal canopy. It was supposed to go over and down the other side…but I’ve been lax in training it…
