Down on the Boat…

I look up at a forest of silver-grey masts
silhouetted against the blanketing dark-grey clouds
and contemplate a world without colour.

    this really reminds me of a picture my partner took recently – grey yachts against a dark grey sky and sea – fantastic and monochrome without having to desaturate!

    This perfectly captures the way color bleeds away from the world before a storm. I’ve always liked the monochromatic look that water gets in certain moods.
