On the Line

On the line the washing hangs limply,
the day has managed to stay dry and fine,
the sun has even broken through briefly,
the threatening clouds have stayed benign.

Waiting for the sun to break through here. I won’t take any laundry chances yet. On a positive note, the green of the trees and garden look lush and happy.

Fairly sunny, and breezy here. Our solar power is popping along!

I can almost see that line– evocative image.

This morning it’s veering from clear blue sky to pouring rain so rapidly that, with the cold north wind, I doubt I’ll chance it.

I don’t hang laundry here in Washington but did being raised in CA as the sun shown brightly there. It is too wet here to hang it.

I love the way you create rhymes without banging over the head with them
