I like the concept of raising oneself again– in this case tulips.

We were lucky to have a gentle shower through most of the night… I have a few neighbors who have large plantings of tulips and it is delightful to see these flowers standing straight and tall with bursts of yellow and read heads!

Would be nice if we could always be as strong as those tulips. I’m sometimes amazed at how the flowers bounce back up again after the battering they take from a storm.

Flowers are troopers and tulips, sometimes the generals.
