Rustle of Spring

The wind weaves
through the fir trees fronded leaves,
working them like a pianist’s fingers
over the piano keys,
playing Sinding’s “Rustle of Spring”.

While I am not familiar with the music – I am sure I must have heard it today. Son of Son pushed and rode his riding toy up and down the block. All that fresh air has allowed him to rest into a peaceful nap… I hope he remembers natures music.
